About 7 years ago, the phpBB community released the version 1 of there phpBB forum system. 7 years later, they just announced there date to release there “Olympus” version 3. After countless months of testing phpBB 3 in betas and RCs. Seems just like yesterday that it was announced that they were starting to work on a new version. All developers, modders, and theme designers are looking forward to this. The official release date for the “Gold” version of phpBB3 will be on: December 13th, 2007 at 17:00GMT. The phpBB teams wants everyone to be there for there events and parties that will be going on all day Thursday. We at the Kryptonlogic Studios are very excited, I have been using phpBB since version 2.0.0 and I remember it just like yesterday when I started modding the system. Congratulations to the phpBB team for all there hard work all these years and look forward for another 7 years.
